I had this set up and working fine before we upgraded so I know that it can work. I have the permissions set to allow anyone full access to the entire data partition right now just to try and remove any permission issues but it just can't connect for some reason. I can connect to the network path just fine in explorer and I have double checked the username and password along with the trying to add the domain in front of the username as well as putting the FQDN in the network path. So we recently upgraded our Server from 2008 R2 to 2016 Standard and I can't set up the scan to network folder anymore it tells me that it cannot connect to the network folder (pictured below) I am on a different domain than before but I feel like it's a permission issue but I'm not 100% sure.
